The HyperCITY HyperChef Challenge opened on Aug 9 when aspiring chefs from across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Hyderabad were given the opportunity to share their special recipes on HyperCITY’s Facebook page and also distributed entry forms instore. Thereafter, a team of chefs from Food Food Channel chose 30 entries from each of the 10 stores in the above cities.
Winners : Ms. Kumud Rai (from Brookfield), and Ms. Sajjal Rakhecha (from Royal Meenakshi Mall) in Bangalore have qualified for the finals that will be held in Mumbai, a few weeks from now, two runners up from each store have also become eligible for a vote out that will ultimately lead to two wild card entries joining our 10 finalists in Mumbai. 30 lucky shortlisted chefs arrived at each of HyperCITY’s two stores at Brookfield and Royal Meenakshi Mall in Bangalore with pre-cooked dishes that were sampled by our judge for the day Chef Shailendra Kekade. The dishes were judged based on originality, taste and presentation.
