Walkathon by the State Bank of Mysore to mark the beginning of its Centenary Celebrations in Bangalore

The maiden Walkathon organised by the State Bank of Mysore on 02.10.2012, to mark the beginning of its Centenary Celebrations was a huge success and continuing the tradition State Bank of Mysore organised a Walkathon on its foundation day i.e., 2nd October this year also and the event was a great success with participation of more than 5,000 enthusiastic members involving staff members and  their family, customers and many more well wishers.

The walkathon was flagged off from Sree Kanteerava Stadium by Shri Lalrokhuma Pachau, DG & IGP, Karnataka in the presence of Sri Sharad Sharma, Managing Director of State Bank of Mysore. The walkathon covering a distance of more than 3.5 kms from the Kanteerava Stadium passed through Cubbon Park and concluded at State Bank of Mysore, Head Office Premises at K G Road with stulpendous enthusiasm and cheer from all the participants.
